Tens of thousands ask UN to intervene in Kashmir

Tens of thousands of Muslims took to the streets in  Kashmir on Monday to demand that the United Nations intervene and stop human rights abuses in the area and recognise the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

According to sources, a large number of protesters marched towards a local UN office amid tight security in defiance of official warnings against holding the rally.
