Local officials in Balkh have reported that numerous manufacturing facilities have commenced operations in the region since the Islamic Emirate regained control.

Imamuddin Sanayeezada, the head of the Balkh Chamber of Mines and Industries, disclosed that approximately 2,000 factories are currently operational in the province, offering job opportunities to numerous young individuals.

Sanayeezada mentioned that 300 new factories have recently begun operations, with the Balkh local government extending support to them.

It is important to highlight that in a bid to aid industrialists and factory proprietors, the Islamic Emirate's leadership has designated 80,000 acres of land for the establishment of industrial parks, which traders view as crucial for the advancement of the country's industrial sector.
