The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has disclosed that an Arab firm has expressed interest in constructing a contemporary township spanning one million square meters in Kabul.

According to the ministry, Saleh Al-Daribi, the leader of an Arab investment entity named Tamkin, intends to invest in the foundational and superficial structures of New Kabul City to facilitate its reconstruction and advancement.

The ministry stated that the company's proposal entails the construction of a modern township on roughly one million square meters of land adhering to international standards.

Quoting the head of Tamkin, the ministry revealed that the entire project is projected to be completed within a year.

Significantly, the New Kabul City initiative stands as a pivotal national and developmental endeavor in the country, poised to significantly impact urban growth, economic progress, and the provision of standardized living conditions.
