Attack in Moscow leaves Afghan child with fractured spine and skull
Al Jazeera reported a disturbing incident at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Airport where a two-year-old Afghan child was callously thrown to the ground by a Belarusian man.
As per Russian authorities, the man, recently returned from Cairo and intoxicated by drugs and alcohol, violently snatched the child from his family and hurled him to the ground with great force.
The assault was so severe that it resulted in fractures to the child’s spine and skull, leaving him in a coma presently.
Security forces at the airport swiftly apprehended the assailant following the attack.
This appalling act has triggered widespread outrage and apprehension, prompting human rights activists to demand a thorough investigation into the incident and justice for this cruel act.
