Malaysia and Kyrgyzstan Advocate for Recognition of the IEA
Malaysia and Kyrgyzstan have called on the global community to intensify efforts to acknowledge the Islamic Emirate, as per a Malaysian government agency report.
During a joint meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Jabbarov, Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasized the shared commitment of the two nations towards engaging with Afghanistan.
Anwar Ibrahim expressed alignment with Kyrgyzstan's standpoint on recognizing the Islamic Emirate, highlighting Kyrgyzstan's insightful perspective on Afghanistan's circumstances owing to its close geographical proximity.
These statements were made amidst the Islamic Emirate's assertions that it has fulfilled all conditions for recognition, despite facing obstacles from several countries in this process.
