IEA has so far treated approximately 140,000 drug addicts
During a meeting commemorating the International Day against Drug Abuse, officials from the Ministry of Interior underscored the Islamic Emirate's resolute commitment to providing treatment for all individuals struggling with drug addiction.
Maulvi Abdul Rahman Qasemi, the Deputy Civilian Director of the Counter-Narcotics Office at the Ministry of Interior, disclosed that approximately 140,000 drug addicts have received treatment since the inception of the drug rehabilitation program in the nation.
Additionally, Mufti Abdul Matin Qane, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, highlighted that the Islamic Emirate has successfully eradicated drug abuse within the country without the assistance of the international community or neighboring nations.
