Local authorities in Faryab report that a tragic traffic incident claimed the lives of six individuals, including two women, and left three children injured.

Mawlawi Abdullah Muradi, a spokesperson for the provincial police headquarters, informed the press that the collision took place yesterday afternoon in the "Jangal" area of the Dawlatabad district, involving a pickup truck and a Corolla.

Attributing the accident to excessive speed, Muradi mentioned that the wounded individuals have been transferred to a healthcare facility for necessary medical attention.

Concerns have been raised by the community regarding the reckless driving habits and speeding of motorists, prompting calls for immediate intervention by the authorities to address these issues.
